Tasks we don’t like or we feel ill equipped to handle, are easily avoided.    A professional organizer can help break down your projects into more manageable pieces and guide you through the process, cheering you on every step of the way. Sometimes a friend can serve as the support you need to get the job done.  Other times, all you really need is the strength within yourself. You know what you need to do, if only you could summon the motivation to start and sustain your efforts.

One of my organizing networking groups had a discussion about songs that motivate and inspire.  I often listen to music while cleaning, exercising, driving and while doing other mundane or otherwise, boring tasks. When music speaks to me, I feel fired up and energized.

I put a playlist together for some of my clients who can use a little extra motivation, inspiration and fun, before or while working through their projects and moving toward their organizational goals. The songs have powerful messages.  See which ones speak to you and motivate you?  Perhaps listen to them before or during working on something you don’t typically enjoy.  So, listen, get your groove on, enjoy and get busy!  And, by all means, if you have any songs to add, please share them with me!  India Arie – There’s Hope Sara Bareilles – Brave Natasha Bedingfield – Unwritten The Wanted – We Own The Night Sugarland – Settlin’ McFadden & Whitehead – Ain’t No Stoppin Us Now – Bryan Adams – Can’t Stop This Thing We Started Jackson – Can you feel it Jennifer Hudson – I’m Changing (DreamGirls) Carole King – Beautiful Jimmy Cliff – You Can Get It If You Really Want Michael Jackson-Man in the mirror Queen – Don’t Stop Me Now Queen – We Are The Champions
